On Tuesday, September 20, two huge Sago Palms were stolen from a front porch in the 5600 block of Victor during daylight hours. Each palm was heavy (100 lbs.) and expensive ($300. each). Neighbors noticed a gray truck with three Hispanic men, one rather heavyset, casing the house and parking in front. When the suspects noticed the neighbors were watching, they sped off. They apparently returned later because the two palms were gone. Unfortunately, the neighbors were not able to get a license plate.
