A second ac compressor was stolen this past Saturday morning (Oct. 15) around 9:30 from the same house in the 5900 block of Reiger. The same white truck was again seen. The police were called but to the best of our knowledge, the suspects and white truck were not apprehended.
There is no license number available for the truck.
An AC compressor was stolen from the 5900 block of Reiger on Friday afternoon, Oct. 14. A white, late model, pick-up truck drove into the driveway and the suspects, believed to be in their early 20s, sawed off the connections to the compressor, and loaded it into their truck. The entire crime took about 5 minutes. There are three suspects, believed to be two white men and one African-American.
A week earlier, a neighbor noticed a white pick-up pull up into the front lawn of the same house. The young white males hopped out and mowed the lawn. It is not known if these two incidents are related. The house in question is vacant and is owned by a bank in Minnesota.
Unfortunately, it was not possible to get a license number. If you see a vehicle that matches the description and is behaving suspiciously, please call 911.
