The forum will be held at East Dallas Christian Church, 629 Peak Street, between Worth and Junius at 7:30 p.m.
EDENS, LOST AND FOUND: PHILADELPHIA
On Thursday,October 25, at 7:00 pm, there will be showing of one of the series, Edens, Lost and Found: How Ordinary Citizens are Restoring Our Great American Cities. This is a wonderful PBS series about efforts to create sustainable cities. This series also includes Los Angeles, Seattle and Chicago. You can see the innovative projects taking place. Some are on a small neighborhood basis and others, city-wide . There is also practical information about how these projects were started.
Experience the excitement created by these projects and dream about what can be done here in our neighborhoods and city.
Again, the showing will be at the Lakewood Library, starting at 7:00pm. The film is an hour long and we must be out of the library by 8:45, so please come on time so we have time for discussion.
