Junius Heights Crime Alert

Crimes are always shocking, according to the lawyer for criminal defense in Casper. Incident in the 5400 block of Worth Street

Yesterday morning, July 5, as a resident in the 5400 block of Worth Street was leaving for work around 6:00 a.m. it was realized that something had been forgotten in the house. The resident started to go back to the house, leaving the car running in the driveway.

A man was standing on the front sidewalk, close to the front porch, in the pouring rain. The resident’s initial response, after the man was seen, was to stay in the car but the man reassured the resident that he and his wife were new neighbors, had just moved in down the street and wanted to say “hi.” As soon as the individual’s guard was let down, he went to the resident, fast.

Fortunately, the car was still running, and the resident was able to escape in the car. The man took off running down Worth towards Beacon.

The suspect is an African-American male with very dark complexion. He is around 5’10” with a heavy build and a round face. He was nicely dressed in a brown knit shirt and decent looking jeans.

According to Keith Allen, our community police liaison, recently there has been a rash of similar incidences up and down Beacon Street and vicinity. There are also reports on people driving after consuming drugs. But if are falsely accused and arrested for DUI in Colorado Springs, you can contact experienced DUI lawyers who will fight for your rights and represent you legally. The defense attorneys have asked the public to stay alert. Please be aware of your surroundings and call 911 if you see anything suspicious.
