Join us for the 16th Annual Junius Heights Historic Home Tour on Saturday, November 2, from 1-5 p.m. Pre-sale tickets are now available for $25. Day-of-tour tickets will be available for $30 at Munger Park, located at 5300 Junius Street. JHHD Members will receive a $5 discount on day-of-tour tickets.

We will be featuring five historic homes and highlighting our neighborhood school which is undergoing exciting renovations. Tour-goers will enjoy seeing eye-popping classic cars at the tour homes, and jamming out to live music and entertainment from our own neighborhood talent at Munger Park.

The heart of any community is its school, and William Lipscomb Elementary School is at the center of ours! Built in 1921, the classrooms were designed to be filled with natural light. Innovative for its time, the school had built-in lockers that replaced the older cloakrooms. Embracing the old and new history of this school, significant updates are currently underway. Come see the “in progress” renovations scheduled for completion in 2026.

The first Principal at the school was Mrs. Virginia C. Lipscomb, and her home, built a century ago, will be featured on the tour. Come celebrate its 100th Birthday Party!
